In April. 7th, Jerry Huang with his robotic team had the opportunity to showcase innovative 3D printing and robotics technology at the Special Education Equal Development Society (SEEDS) event held at Lakelands Park Middle School in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
During the event, they demonstrated the capabilities of 3D printing technology by creating personalized items in real-time. The highlight for the special needs children in attendance was seeing their names printed in 3D fashion, sparking excitement and curiosity among them.
Additionally, they showcased forefront robotics technology, allowing attendees to interact with robots and learn about their functionalities. The children were particularly thrilled to witness the robots in action, while parents expressed keen interest in their potential applications for personal care and assistance at home.
After the demo, they engaged with attendees, answered questions, and shared insights into the fascinating world of 3D printing and robotics. It was rewarding to see the enthusiasm and interest generated by our demonstration, and they are proud to have been part of such a meaningful event.
The participation in the SEEDS event not only provided valuable hands-on experience but also allowed us to make a positive impact on the special needs community. Moving forward, we are eager to continue exploring opportunities to use technology to support and empower others.
